Driven by the Kigali Amendment, nations are aggressively phasing down high-GWP HFCs. HFOs offer the perfect solution: they maintain thermodynamic performance but with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) often less than 1.
Unlike HFCs, HFO molecules contain a carbon-carbon “double bond.” This makes them chemically stable inside your AC system, but allows them to break down within days when released into the atmosphere, preventing heat trapping.
